During a New York City Council meeting in June, a woman who appears to be Jessica Krug discusses her “Black and Brown siblings” and refers to herself as Black. On Thursday Krug, a white woman, admitted to pretending to be Afro-Latina and she also taught African studies at George Washington University. The school is now investigating.
