U.S. President Donald Trump spoke Friday in New Hampshire about recent anti-racism protests in cities like Portland, Ore. and Kenosha, Wis. among others are not protesters, they’re “anarchists, they’re agitators, rioters.” He said those participating “don’t even know who George Floyd is,” in reference to the 46-year-old Black man who died on Memorial Day in Minneapolis, Minn. after a police officer knelt on his neck for more than seven minutes.
