There is a cross-country collaboration that’s combining an opioid harm reduction strategy with an ATM-style machine to provide safe drugs to users. The technology has been in development for two years and after a successful pilot project in Vancouver’s downtown eastside, it is ready to roll out five new machines across Canada, including here in the Maritimes.
