Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, who ran for the Democratic nomination in both 2016 and 2020, lent his support on Monday to the party’s presidential nominee Joe Biden’s policies including raising minimum wage to US$15 an hour, 12 weeks paid family leave and affordable childcare. He also said while they differ on how to change healthcare in the country, Sanders said Biden “has a plan” that will cut prescription drug costs and expand healthcare.
