U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday said on Thursday that he was optimistic a COVID-19 vaccine could be ready “probably around that date,” referring to Election Day on Nov. 3. This claim comes despite anything suggested by his own White House experts. Trump added he believed they’d have a vaccine before the end of 2020, “but around that date, yes.”
