WE scandal: Morneau says he repaid $41,000 to charity for unpaid travel bills

During a finance committee hearing on the WE Charity deal on Wednesday, Finance Minister Bill Morneau said that he had just repaid over $41,000 in what he says were previously unknown expenses due to the WE organization from family trips. Morneau told the committee that “it was a mistake on my part.”
