Coronavirus: Ontario relaxes visitation rules for visitors at long-term care homes

Merrilee Fullerton, Ontario’s minister of long-term care, announced Wednesday that the government would ease restrictions for visitors to long-term care homes, stating that up to two people at one time are now able to participate in outdoor visits without being tested for COVID-19. As of July 22, she said, indoor visits will be able to resume as long as visitors can show they’ve tested negative for COVID-19.
