Blanchet reiterates call for Trudeau to step aside amid WE charity controversy
Description
July 14, 2020
Bloc Quebecois Leader Yves-Francois Blanchet said on Tuesday that despite the ongoing WE Charity controversy, it was not time for another federal election, but once more called on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to step aside and allow Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland to lead the government. He also criticized the Conservatives’ call for an RCMP investigation into the WE Charity contract, saying “we can’t order a police investigation like we can order pizza.”
