U.K. Digital Minister Oliver Dowden announced on Tuesday that Her Majesty’s Government would be committing to a timetable to remove Huawei equipment from its 5G network by 2027. China on Tuesday said it was “paying close attention” to the move and questioned why Chinese companies could not access a business environment that was fair and free from discrimination.
