July 11 marks the 13th anniversary of the beginning of the “Oka Crisis.” What started with the proposed expansion of a golf course west of Montreal back in 1990, turned into a 78-day stand-off that left a permanent mark on our entire country. Global News’ Dan Spector has a look at the commemoration and how decades later, the issues that launched the crisis have still not been resolved.
