Coronavirus: U.S. is ‘going in the wrong direction’ as cases continue to rise, Fauci says

When speaking with Sen. Elizabeth Warren at the Senate hearing on safely returning to work and school amid the COVID-19 pandemic on Tuesday, head of the National Institutes of Health Dr. Anthony Fauci said that the U.S. is “going in the wrong direction” as the number of cases in the country continue to rise, and that he “would not be surprised” if cases increase to 100,000 per day.
