U.S. Vice President Mike Pence: “I really believe All Lives Matter”
U.S. Vice President Mike Pence, during an interview on CBS’ Face the Nation on Sunday, declined to say the phrase “Black Lives Matter,” saying he believes the movement is part of a political agenda perpetrated by the radical left. “I really believe all lives matter,” Pence said instead. The controversial phrase “All Lives Matter” began surfacing more than two years ago as a response to the BLM movement. Many have characterized the phrase as an attempt to distract or minimize the issues being raised by the BLM movement and the wider Black community.
