Scheer questions Trudeau’s foreign policy in Middle East and Africa

Conservative leader Andrew Scheer asked Prime Minister Justin Trudeau several questions about Canada’s relations with Oman, Qatar and Rwanda during a sitting in the House of Commons on Wednesday, including why Trudeau doesn’t condemn violations of human rights and freedoms in those countries. Trudeau responded saying his government will continue to engage with countries it doesn’t “always agree with” but will also advocate for human rights around the world.
