Coronavirus outbreak: WHO pleads for all countries to continue sharing coronavirus genome sequences

World Health Organization (WHO) COVID-19 technical lead Maria Van Kerkhove on Monday pleaded for all countries to share their coronavirus cases’ genome sequences, as over 40,000 genome sequences have been made available and would be helpful for research of the virus’ behaviour, as cases rise above 7 million worldwide.
