On Monday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that his government is working to extend the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) payments to those out of work due to the coronavirus pandemic, saying he will be making an announcement in the coming days and assured Canadians his government will be there for those in need.
