Scheer says Chinese National Security Law should mark a changing point in Canada’s policy to China
Leader of the Official Opposition Conservative Andrew Scheer said on Friday that the “so-called Chinese National Security Law” is violating the rights and freedoms of people in Hong Kong and should mark a changing point in Canada’s policy towards China. Scheer criticized Champagne for not thanking Taiwan for its PPE donations, but in contrast thanking the Bank of China for its donations to Canada amid the pandemic.
