Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Friday that the Canadian Armed Forces’ (CAF) deployment in Ontario’s and Quebec’s long-term care homes to help deal with COVID-19 outbreaks would be extended until June 26, amid the ongoing pandemic, in order to continue assisting with elder care.
