Ontario Premier Doug Ford and Minister of Long-Term Care Merrilee Fullerton said during a press conference on Thursday that the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) will not be withdrawing from long-term care homes with COVID-19 outbreaks on June 12 as originally planned since many facilities still require assistance.
