Conservative party leader Andrew Scheer refused on Monday to comment on Conservative party leadership candidate Derek Sloan’s remarks, which he made in a video conference ,accusing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of “legalizing child abuse by advancing conversion therapy.” Scheer refused to agree or condemn, and said it’s not his role to comment on leadership candidates’ statements and stated that “Mr. Sloan doesn’t speak for this party.”
