CDC director Dr. Robert Redfield on Thursday during a hearing before the House Appropriations Committee urged people who had been protesting across the country for more than a week in response to the death of George Floyd to get tested for COVID-19, especially those in metropolitan areas that haven't controlled the outbreak to the extent needed, like Minneapolis.
