George Floyd death: AG Barr says it has evidence ‘extremist groups’ involved in violent activity during protests

U.S. attorney general William Barr spoke about the ongoing protests across the country in response to the death of George Floyd, saying a large majority are peaceful demonstrators but they have evidence there are some “extremist agitators” that are “hijacking” the protests to “pursue their own agenda. He added they are also seeing foreign “actors playing all sides” to exacerbate the violence. He also said they had arrested 51 arrests for federal crimes in connection to violent rioting.
