Alberta government to change restrictions on foothills coal mining

A decades-old policy on metallurgical, or steel-making coal, development along the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains has been rescinded by the UCP government. The goal is to attract more investment, but as provincial affairs reporter tom Vernon explains, there are concerns about what this will mean for the environment.
