A fire was reported around 1:20 pm Tuesday on Corrigan Crescent in Peterborough’s south east.
Firefighters were focused on the back of the home and it’s believed some of the fire may have spread to the attic.
Peterborough Fire Services say careless smokeless is being blamed for the blaze. No one was injured.
The cause remains under investigation.
