Dr. Robert Strang, Nova Scotia’s chief medical officer of health announced on Friday that provincial and municipal parks can re-open, including sports fields and school grounds and trails. He also announced the re-opening of community gardens and asked Nova Scotians to continue observing social distancing rules and not to drive to parks and trails outside of their local communities.
