Coronavirus outbreak: Quebecers with COVID-19 symptoms will be able to get tested within 24 hours

Dr. Yves Jalbert, Quebec’s deputy general director of public health, said on Friday that starting on May 4th, the province is setting a dedicated health line for people with COVID-19 symptoms who will be able to call and be referred to a designated screening centre within 24 hours. If no appointments are available within 24 hours, they will be referred to an evaluation centre first, then a screening centre.
