Top U.S. infectious disease expert Anthony Fauci said on Tuesday in an interview with the Economic Club of Washington that he was “almost certain” the coronavirus would come back in the fall. He added that by that time, if all the needed countermeasures were put into place successfully, “we should do reasonably well.” But if not, Fauci said “we could be in for a bad fall and a bad winter.”
