April 28, 2020
Environment and Parks Minister Jason Nixon updated the situations in Fort McMurray and Fort Vermilion Tuesday, where long ice jams on the Peace, Athabasca and Clearwater rivers has caused flooding to several northern communities and there is no man-made solution. He addressed evacuations happening in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and asked residents to listen to direction from officials.

Environment and Parks Minister Jason Nixon updated the situations in Fort McMurray and Fort Vermilion Tuesday, where long ice jams on the Peace, Athabasca and Clearwater rivers has caused flooding to several northern communities and there is no man-made solution. He addressed evacuations happening in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and asked residents to listen to direction from officials.
