Coronavirus outbreak: Federal ministers questioned on Quebec’s ‘Herd Immunity’ policy on COVID-19

Officials in Quebec are pushing the idea of “herd immunity” which involves exposing children to COVID-19 to help them develop a natural immunity. Speaking in Ottawa on Monday afternoon, federal cabinet ministers including Deputy Prime Minister of Canada Chrystia Freeland said the science is still inconclusive that this is the best course of action to pursue.
