Coronavirus outbreak: No new COVID-19 cases in N.B., no victory yet over virus says chief medical officer

New Brunswick chief medical officer of health Dr. Jennifer Russell said on Monday that the province has no new COVID-19 cases to report, however, the province is “nowhere near ready to declare victory” over the novel coronavirus outbreak. Russell said that at this stage in the fight, “success is not just about not having new cases,” but it’s about knowing how many cases of COVID-19 the province really has, how widespread it has become and that the health-care system could manage the virus.
