Last week, a longtime patient attendant at the Grace Dart Extended Care Centre in Montreal’s east end died after contracting COVID-19. Many other workers in the health care sector have also gotten ill from the virus putting an enormous strain on the health network. As Global’s Dan Spector reports, more and more patients are bearing the brunt of the strained system.
