Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Friday that the federal government must examine the entirety of the RCMP’s response during the Nova Scotia shooting this past weekend to see what was done properly but also where improvements need to be made. Asked if the fact an emergency alert was not sent out during the 12 hours the shooting occurred was a failure on the police force’s part, Trudeau said they need to find out what could have been done better.
