On Monday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said the state is effectively controlling the spread of COVID-19 and that “the worst is over” if they “continue to be smart going forward.” He added they need to be careful not to “turn the valve too fast” by reducing self-isolation measures because they could see the number of cases “jump right back" again.
