During Saturday’s provincial COVID-19 briefing, Alberta’s Premier Jason Kenney responded to an email he received from an 8-year-old Alberta girl who asked if the “Easter bunny will be allowed to come and hide the eggs.” Kenney said “I’m pleased to announce that we’ve declared the Easter bunny an essential service, and we ask him to observe the hygiene protocol and wash his hands for 20 seconds under hot soapy water.”
