On Saturday, Ontario’s Health Minister Christine Elliott said that there are nearly 6,000 COVID-19 tests done per day in the province, but that it is expected to reach up to 8,000 per day by mid April, and then double by the end of the month. She added that they want to focus their resources on high risk areas, including long term care homes with outbreaks and front line workers.
