Coronavirus outbreak: Ontario health officials say investigation needed into recalled masks

At a daily briefing on Ontario’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the province’s chief medical officer of health Dr. David Williams said an investigation would need to be carried out into a shipment of $200,000 worth of masks delivered to Toronto care homes that had to be recalled. A statement released on Tuesday said the masks “did not meet the city’s standard and specifications.”
