Coronavirus outbreak: Japan implements travel restrictions on 73 countries

Japan has put in place more measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, barring entry from 73 countries and also requiring anyone arriving from abroad to quarantine themselves for two weeks. Japan’s chief cabinet secretary said Wednesday that it’s a very important time to avoid a rapid spread, as the country remains “on the brink” with hospitals being severely strained.
