Coronavirus outbreak: Toronto nears 800 COVID-19 cases
Toronto’s medical officer of health Dr. Eileen de Villa said on Tuesday that as of 1 p.m. ET, the city has a total of 793 cases of COVID-19, and that number is expected to increase in the coming weeks. Out of those 793 cases, 65 people are in hospital as a result of the virus, including 33 in intensive care units. De Villa also said that 43 people have recovered.
