City of Edmonton closes personal service shops to combat COVID-19
Description
March 26, 2020
On Thursday Edmonton city council voted to shut down personal services like eyelash studios, nail salons, massage services, body rub parlours and hairdressers, which Mayor Don Iveson and interim city manager Adam Laughlin said it had to be done because there is not way to enforce social distancing in those lines of work.

On Thursday Edmonton city council voted to shut down personal services like eyelash studios, nail salons, massage services, body rub parlours and hairdressers, which Mayor Don Iveson and interim city manager Adam Laughlin said it had to be done because there is not way to enforce social distancing in those lines of work.
