Coronavirus outbreak: Trump distances himself from doctor who says she had a mild fever but tested negative

Dr. Deborah Birx, the White House coronavirus response coordinator, spoke Monday about the importance of taking personal responsibility in monitoring one’s health. She said that she had a mild fever this past Saturday and in researching more, went for a test and came back negative, and stayed home a second day to be sure it was just a fever. During this explanation, Trump appeared to briefly distance himself from Birx before returning close to the podium as she continued to explain the fever.
