Coronavirus outbreak: Trump implies U.S. could reopen within weeks

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that the U.S. could be “open for business” again soon and they’d be making decisions in the next couple weeks despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. He said it could happen sooner than the three to four months some health officials have said it could take before people could possibly return to work. He added they “cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself,” saying they would decide after a 15-day period what the next steps they would take to reopen the country.
