Saskatchewan's chief medical officer Dr. Saqib Shahab said that based on the current number of COVID-19 cases reported, eight in total as of Tuesday, the province was "moving in the right direction" by having people stay at home and abide by social distancing procedures. He said he expects the number of cases could still rise in the province with people returning from travel, but asked citizens to continue practicing appropriate social distancing.
