Coronavirus outbreak: Ministers address international travel concerns, say main focus is to keep Canadians safe

After a cabinet meeting about the COVID-19 outbreak in Canada on Sunday, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages Mélanie Joly told reporters the government understands “that people are facing anxiety” regarding international travel, and that their main priority is to “make sure that Canadians are safe” and that travellers will be able to return home. Joly said that they will be announcing updates related to travel on Monday.
