On Thursday, Insp. Max Waddell, head of the Winnipeg Police Service’s Guns and Gangs Unit, reported that police had charged two men in relation to a cocaine bust that is estimated to be worth $1.5 million CDN. After a five month investigation, police arrested two individuals, seized 19 kilograms of cocaine, and 20 pounds of illicit cannabis from an independent drug trafficking cell.
