Alberta’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Deena Hinshaw said upwards of 1,000 tests for COVID-19 were performed on Tuesday. She said assessment centres are meeting demand right now. Health officials aim to get people their results within 24 hours, but Hinshaw said results — particularly if they’re negative — can take up to four days.
