Coronavirus outbreak: Washington state officials outline how social distancing can decrease cases

Speaking about the COVID-19 outbreak in Washington state with reporters on Wednesday, Seattle and King County public health officer Jeffrey Duchin presented a chart from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, which outlined how the cases within the state could increase if social distancing measures are not implemented. As of Wednesday, Washington has 268 presumptive cases and 24 deaths as a result of COVID-19.
