On Wednesday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that the federal government is pledging $1 billion CDN in response funding, to address and help mitigate the national impact of COVID-19. The money would provide funding to all provinces and territories for “preparation and mitigation for the virus.”
