Rail blockades: Kahnawake Mohawk rail blockade comes to a peaceful end

A blockade on the railway tracks in Kahnawake — which protesters from the Mohawk community set up nearly a month ago — has come to a peaceful end on Thursday. The ceremonial fire at the Kahnawake rail blockade near Montreal has been moved by Mohawk protesters as a gesture “of good faith” as the Wet’suwet’en people consider the draft agreement reached last week with the federal government. Mike Armstrong reports.
