Premier Doug Ford stresses government is listening to parents

Ontario Premier Doug Ford said on Monday that they were listening to parents over issues such as class sizes and e-learning, saying parents in his estimation want a fair deal and don’t want teachers’ unions asking for more funding due to rising debt levels in the province. He added that they have put a “fair deal” to the province’s teachers unions, but won’t “roll over” on things like bonuses and other issues.
