Coronavirus outbreak: CDC says it’s ‘likely’ spread of virus will cause pandemic

Dr. Anne Schuchat, principal deputy director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said during a media availability on Tuesday that it’s likely the new coronavirus will cause a pandemic, telling reporters it’s “not so much a question of if this will happen anymore, but rather a question of exactly when.”
