Conservative MP questions whether Trudeau wants Alberta in Canada

During Question Period in the House of Commons on Monday, Conservative MP for Lakeland, Alta., Shannon Stubbs questioned whether Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wants Alberta to be part of Canada or not due to his treatment of the energy sector, and hesitation to proceed with the Coastal GasLink pipeline due to ongoing consultations with the Wet’suwet’en peoples, who oppose the pipeline running through their traditional territory.
